The Chelmsford Public Library was established in 1894 and serves the community of Chelmsford, MA through a main library and a branch library. In addition to a circulating collection of 140,000 books and other items, they have many resources that document the town’s history from its incorporation in 1655.
Description of Digitized Collections
A collection of Annual Reports for the Town of Chelmsford were digitized in the spring and summer of 2012. The digitized items consist of around 130 annual report booklets dating from 1875 to 2010. The Annual Reports range in page number from 100 to 135 pages and originated from the collections of both the Chelmsford Historical Society and Chelmsford Library.
