The Massachusetts Horticultural Society is a non-profit organization established in 1829. They are located in the town of Wellesley and are dedicated to encouraging the public’s enjoyment and understanding of plants and the environment. The Massachusetts Horticultural Society Library is one of the oldest horticultural resource centers in the world and has around 20,000 books, periodicals, illustrations, and other resources.
Description of Digitized Collections
Several items from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society Archives collection were digitized in the fall of 2012. This includes close to 90 annual reports covering 1829 to 1963, as well as several yearbooks and pamphlets dating from 1964 to 1976.
