Saugus Public Library

Institution Profile

The Saugus Public Library is the public library for the town of Saugus on the North Shore. They were officially founded in 1916 after emerging from the Saugus Debating Society, which was created in 1843.

Description of Digitized Collections

Items from several collections were digitized in the summer of 2013. The materials include military photographs from the Civil War, Saugus High School yearbooks from 1929 to 1969, annual reports from 1864 to 2006, and other town records.
